We have received some excellent news!

Best Kept Village 2024

Peter Holland of CPRE, who is managing the competition for CPRE, Notts ALC and RCAN, has announced that the first round judging is complete and that results are as follows:

Section A

Farnsfield: Position First

Ravenshead: Position Second

Section B

Tuxford: Position First

Shireoaks: Position Second

Section C

East Markham: Position First

Beckingham: Position Second

Coddington: Certificate of Merit for Community involvement

Section D

Halam: Position First

Norwell: Position Second

Nether Langwith: Certificate of Merit for D-Day celebrations display.

The villages finishing first in each section will go on to the ‘Best in Notts’ stage - judging for this will take place between 8th July and 16th August.

The winner will be announced at the Notts ALC AGM (12 October 2024).

All the above will be presented with a certificate on the day.
