The Tour of Britain 2024 - Stage 4 - Nottinghamshire - Friday 6th September 2024

The Parish Council has received a letter from Andy Hardy, Sports, Community Facilities and Events Manager, Newark & Sherwood District Council with confirmation that the Tour of Britain will once again visit Newark & Sherwood and will host the finish of this year’s Nottinghamshire Stage as well as a significant amount of the race route.

Stage 4 will start from Derby Arena at approximately 11.00am and will finish at Sconce Park Newark at approximately 2.30pm. The route is planned to go through many local towns and villages including Blidworth, Farnsfield, Edingley, Halam, Southwell, Hockerton, Caunton, Norwell, Ossington, Moorhouse, Egmanton, Besthorpe, Collingham, Coddington and Newark on Trent.

Further details will be circulated by NSDC in the next few weeks about the timings and opportunities to get involved in what promises to be a fantastic and memorable day.
